Is it a real positive?

Hi guys, so I am late 2 months and today I took a test twice with different brands and they were both positive. I am so happy right now but the thing is since I am 2 months late the first month I took my test and it showed negative throughout even when I took it 2 weeks after my period was late. I followed the app that I was using for ovulation and took the test today as my period would be late 2 days now even though it is 2 months and this time it was positive twice. I used the week indicator test too and it showed 2-3 weeks. But what I want to know is that is it a real positive and is this possible where I miss periods and not pregnant and still try and get pregnant? Is this my hormones messed up or is it normal?

False positives are extremely rare and generally only happen if you have had a recent miscarriage or taking fertility drugs. With regards to your periods it depends on a lot of factors - have you been on birth control, where you always regular/irregular. Get an appointment at your GP to confirm!
