Pregnant 28 days after miscarriage is this possible?

Is this possible? I am in shock. Had an early miscarriage last month. Think I was about 5 weeks. Felt weird the last few days - weak , dizzy , nausea exactly like my normal pregnancy symptoms. Took two tests and they came up with an extremely strong positive right away. I did feel ovulation signs lasts week but that would have been too soon to get a positive this strong. Unless I did feel pains but ovulated earlier? Not sure what to think, don’t want to get my hopes up as aware there can be leftover hormones. I will speak to gp in the morning.

is it possible to get pregnant less than a month after MC?

It's possible. I had a miscarriage in April at 7 weeks. Confirmed as a miscarriage on the 8th.
On 1st May I was pregnant again and had another BFP.
Did you test negative after your miscarriage?

After advice from the midwife I stopped testing for a few weeks. So no. The only thing that made me test was the fact I felt weird!

Yes, mine is 12 now 😀
Hope all goes well for you.

It is possible but I'd be cautious if you haven't had a negative test post miscarriage - were you not advised to test after 3 weeks? It could be a sign of retained product, not a new pregnancy. I would contact your EPU and explain the situation, and until then I would try not to get your hopes up.

Yes I did consider this. Is it possible to ovulate with retained product? I definitely went from ‘feeling pregnant’ before the miscarriage to ‘feeling not pregnant’ after then I could feel strong ovulation pains 2 weeks after.

The midwife just said dont test for 3 weeks. I guess I am now 3.5 weeks along. Will definitely get things checked out feeling cautious at the moment

You can't ovulate if you have retained product.

So sorry for your loss. Definitely get checked out x

Yes I will, thanks. GP is amazing, she knows I am trying again and said to come in right away if I get a positive test so they can do bloods and monitor 🙏 so will call tomorrow. I certainly feel pregnant all of a sudden so it will be interesting to see what happens.
