Leaking fluid ??? (Picture included)

Hi guys I woke up this morning to wet patch in pants and and crotch bit of pyjamas damp. I've never had this also when I wiped after I noticed this on the tissue.

i would suggest going the maternity emergency unit near you if you have one- just so they can swab you to check you’re not leaking amniotic fluid x

Thankyou I've never had this where I've woken up and pants are damp there black so that dosnt help with looking at the colour does it have a slight tinge to it. And my pyjamas are damp too x

You don't say how many weeks you are? If early near to get it checked. Out a pad on as they'll likely want to see it when you get to triage

I'm 41 weeks today I don't have any pain etc just woke up to this today

Does it smell of anything? If it doesn't smell like urine I would definitely phone the maternity unit as you are already 41 weeks.

I'd say bit like straw but I've also noticed when I wipe on the tissue little yellow type bits could this be mucus plug

Hmm I would go and get checked out so they can swab you. The mucus plug usually looks like a big blob (or bits) of snot and can be yellow, clear, pink/blood streaked. Are you in any pain?

Getting pain around bump yes babys moving ok but I am unsure of the bits when I'm wiping

I've been losing my mucus plug the last 2 days, but that alone doesn't mean you are in labour. Can you put a pad on and monitor it for a couple of hours to see if anymore liquid leaks out?

Ok yes that's a good idea I will do that I'm a ftm and I just havnt got a clue what to expect I'm so nervous...wjat is the colour of your mucus plug mine looks like bits on the tissue not sure if this is normal

Yesterday it was a pale yellow but today it looks white/clear. Sometimes it can look pale pink or blood tinged as well and resembles snot. You will be absolutely fine, don't worry! Are you still getting the pain in your stomach and is it constant or comes and goes?

I've been a hospital this morning they said I can have a csection if I'm worried about inductions so they have booked that now for weds but I also was having brown like old period blood brown in toilet when I was there they think it's my body gearing up for.labour and I mentioned the leak but I havnt had it since so they wasn't too concerned.

Aww that's exciting! I'm due to have my c section next week if she doesn't come before then.

If the mucus plug and brown blood is coming out I'd say that's early labour starting up that's how mine with dd2 started anyway
