Help- conception news

I need urgent help on working out my contraception date.

i was last on a period on 29th October. (Over thinker who suffers with anxiety now thinks it could be spotting!) it was dark red and pads was used and also a tampon.

i was on holiday to Australia from 1st November (last date of period) till 20th November.

i took my first test when i got home on 2nd December PM and again morning of 3rd December and both said 2-3 weeks. Now which works out as me and my boyfriend has unprotected sex 14th November and twice after in November and I took another test morning of 8th December which said 3+ which should work out but I took one 7th December PM which read 1-2 weeks.

we really are hoping we conceived on holiday as it means so much to us. I booked a private dating scan on Tuesday 10th but please help my peace of mind!

I would be more concerned with your tears showing 2-3 and 3+ weeks then dropping to 1-2 weeks to be honest as declining levels of hcg is not a good sign.
Hopefully just a faulty test. Hope all is OK at your scan.

All being well, once you get a due date from your scan, you can count back 38 weeks and that'll give approximate conception date - it's more accurate with the date you get at your 12 week scan but you should get a rough idea earlier

I’m sorry what are you trying to work out? Conception date? If so, you will probably be the same as me if you have a short-ish cycle. My cycles are between 25-29 days. My last period was 28th October. I ovulated on 8th November so I think conception would have been either the 10th or 11th November. I’m now 6 weeks pregnant.

As PP said, I’d be more concerned about the declining HCG levels.
