Hi all, I’m 7.5 weeks with my second baby and yesterday I started getting a tiny bit of bloody discharge, and some period like cramps which have been mild but constant all day today. The blood has increased a bit too, it’s not a lot, but it’s there. My early pregnancy unit doesn’t open until tomorrow so was told in the phone to wait until then. Has anyone else had similar to this and it turned out everything was alright? I’m worried it’s a miscarriage starting.
I didn’t have anything like this with my first pregnancy. Also I’ve not had any pregnancy symptoms so far, no sickness, no sore boobs, nothing, which I did with my first pregnancy.
Thanks

Sorry to hear you’re having a tough time. Did you manage to speak to the EPU today? ❤️

Hi @DragonflyRuby , thank you for your reply ❤️ yes I did and they can’t fit me in for a scan until Thursday, so now it’s just a waiting game until then unfortunately ☹️ x

@Suziek12 how is the spotting now? Hope everything is ok. I'm waiting for a scan this week too, booked for Friday so I know how the waiting game feels x.

Thank you @Moosey898 . Mine has actually got worse and is now a lot more red blood rather than pink streaks, and had a little clot come out too. It’s not looking good I don’t think. Awe bless you, I hope everything goes alright for you on Friday and you get some good news, the waiting really is the worst bit. Xx

Sorry to here this Op, your second message, does not sound good 😕
When I was pregnant I suddenly lost the feeling, no sore boob's etc. 2wks later I started to miscarry.
I was 40 at the time. 3months later I was pregnant, today DD turned 10 🥰 hopefully you are ok but if not there is hope x

I am also sailing in same boat, I called EPU and they said someone will call me with scan appointment detail but post 3 days also no one did. I called them again but same response that you will get call today. Later, I got a call and they said they don’t have any scan appointments available for next 2 weeks. I literally cried inside. I told them that it’s urgent it might some complication if not MC, so they called me in and ask me to wait for scan.

Nurse did my urine test blood test, temperature and blood pressure, then asked me to wait again.
Later she called me in and said doctor will not see you without scan and we are fully booked for next 2 weeks. She didn’t listened to me and kept on gng being rude that she doesn’t understand the obsession of scan in girls these days. It was so disheartening, finally after lot of discussions and fight they gave me scan appointment for 15th evening.

As for now, I am still bleeding bright red when I wipe only thing it’s not coming on pad so they will not see me.

So, I feel you what you are gng through. I am 34 and have no kids, I had miscarriages earlier. I am just trying to be hopeful this time.

Hope everything goes okay on your side. Wishing you good luck 🤞🏻
