Scan nerves !

Is it normal to feel nervous before a scan I have my scan Tuesday and I'm so nervous !

In my experience yes! I had awful anxiety before every one of my scans, I think it’s the worry of the unknown! Good luck x

Totally normal (and I'd put money on anyone coming on here to tell you you need 'help with your anxiety' just being deliberately obtuse). I was very nervous for my 12 and 20 week scans, but thr growth scans I had between weeks 20 and birth were less anxiety inducing because I was feeling baby move a lot, and that comforted me (growth scans were because they though baby was small...baby was huge).

I'm going from excited can not stop smiling and a nervous what if wreak ! I have little t shirts for my dc and a card ready to announce it to them, I've felt so so sick and exhausted I'll be so happy when I can tell people and won't have to hide it 😂

@GetItInYerBag I'm also waiting for " the sort your anxiety " comments 😂 I think it's quite normal but doesn't feel normal when your in the anxiety if that makes sense ! I had a scan at 9 weeks too xx

Scanxiety is very, very normal.
I'm 24 weeks into my second pregnancy and still get it bad before every single scan.

Yep I have my 20 week scan this week and feel really nervous, hoping to tell DD this week and stop having to hide under really baggy clothes!

I think it’s normal to be a bit anxious. I had my 20 week scan last week and I was anxious.

Second baby but third pregnancy. My very first pregnancy I went for a scan at 9 weeks with no idea that it had stopped and my body didn’t know so now each scan I always wonder.

I remember being really nervous at the 20 week scan with one of mine, I was so relieved when I could have a nervous wee before I went in!!
I'm counting down the hours now to be able to tell my dc scan is in 24 hours then I just have to wait till they are home from school ! I had planed so much today to keep me busy but I am so tired I've done nothing 😂

Little update it was amazing baby is perfect and I cannot wait to get home to tell dc xx
