Nothing. No braxton hicks, no lightning crotch, no aches or pains. Has anyone gone into spontaneous labour without having any signs beforehand that your body is getting ready?

The due date is a rough guide unfortunately, you can easily go to 41weeks or so.
With my first pregnancy I was induced at 39 weeks and I can say my body was not ready. It'll happen when your body is ready.

Me with my second. Absolutely nothing, even after 2 sweeps, until I woke with pain at 5am at 40+6. Baby girl was born a few hours later lol. (My first was an elcs for breech).

You could still have 3 weeks to go.
The due date is a guide and they let you go to 42 weeks if all seems well.

I turned up to my 40 week appt. two cm dilated after having no symptoms whatsoever so yes your body may be preparing and you might not feel it. Two sweeps later and my little one was Born at 40+4 two days before I had an induction booked. Try to move as much as you can and try not to stress, you’ll be meeting your little one in no time!

It's normal, try not to worry. All the best!

I remember when I was 40 weeks with DC1. I'd had loads of signs - increasing intensity of Braxton hicks, a show etc - and my NCT friend hadn't had any signs at all. I couldn't believe it when she went into labour and had her baby and I was still pregnant!

I was the same. The only sign I had was an insane need to scrub the kitchen floor at 39+5. 😁

My back started pinging at 40+4 and ds arrived morning of 40+6

I had nothing until 38+5 when I had a dull pain in my bump and then the bump went from being super taut to squishy in the afternoon. My waters went at midnight a she arrived by lunchtime less than 24h since the initial pain.

I was put on ctg monitoring when I went in after my waters went and they could see contractions but I couldn't feel them. This was about 1am and it was 3-4am before I had recognisable contractions by which point they were 3 in 10 minutes and 30 seconds long.
