Hey, so I’m 14 weeks pregnant with my first the sickness has disappeared completely and I have little to no bump. I’m just extremely panicked constantly!

I know everyone’s different but when is the expected time for a bump to show? Is it normal to not have a bump at 14 weeks?

i feel like it’s a bit of a fever dream and it’s not real

i should be excited but im just really worried constantly

I think it's all good! First time pregnancy here too and I can relate to how you feel - was just recently that I was in a similar position and also the same worries.

If it helps, I didn't have a proper bump until about 18 weeks (and even then, it was more of a curve). And with the nausea/vomitting gone, I don't feel "pregnant" most days unless I look at my (small) bump in the mirror!

I found it reassuring talking to other mums, and reading some blogs. From what I know, some people dont have a proper bump until 20/22 weeks! When a bump appears depends on so many factors as you probably have found out already!

Hope your pregnancy goes smoothly and that you'll get to meet your bump real soon!

I wouldn’t even give a second thought to bump size or has zero bearing on the success of a pregnancy. I’m 36 weeks and am literally told daily how small I and my baby is on 71st centile so it doesn’t mean a thing

Is this your first pregnancy?

In my first I think my sickness was from about week 7 to week 14/15 ish.
You're in the second trimester now which is supposed to be the time when symptoms are at a minimum and you can 'enjoy' pregnancy a bit more (this didn't happen for me but at least no sickness).

Bump wise, I barely had a bump at all until over 32 weeks! Before then I just liked a bit podgy round the middle and like I'd eaten too much! I went for a non pregnancy related MRI at 28/29 weeks and the woman doing the scan was shocked there was a baby in there as when lying down I didn't look pregnant at all.

It's a weird time as I also didn't feel any movements until about 22 weeks so the whole period between the 12 week and 20 week scans I had times when i didn't feel pregnant at all.

Second pregnancy has been totally different.
