Are these pregnancy tests getting lighter?

Both my previous pregnancies ended in loss so on edge this time around. Having a scan in two days’ time at EPU when I should be nearly 8 weeks. But are they getting lighter? Should I be worried?

They look perfectly fine to me, I don't think these strips get darker than yours above, good luck for your scan x

They reach a certain point where the hcg is so high they don't read it right and can actually look lighter. I know of course you're anxious and I'm so sorry for your previous losses, but doing tests won't change the outcome of a pregnancy. If anything, they'll just create stress for you which you don't need!
You're trying to compare weeks old dried tests with ones from today, it's just not comparable. After 6 weeks no real point in testing. Best of luck OP💐

Thank you both x

Good luck for your scan OP, I agree with the PPs. If you can I would try and stop testing. I totally understand the anxiety after a loss, I wish I had a little window into my uterus! 🤭

Mine got lighter after 6wks. Currently rocking a grumpy 13wk old xx

Good luck for your scan OP, to compare you need wet tests so I’d take photos within the time frame and compare that way 48 hours apart. I made a collage each day but definitely stopped before 6 weeks and just went by scans after that point

Agree with PPs, at that point, they're not reliable. The colour depends on the amount of dye in the test and this varies.

I did the week indication tests and stopped when I got a 3+

Have you tried diluting your urine and testing? Google the hook effect.

Also, I appreciate your anxiety, but you really don't need to be testing this far along. You're way past the possibility of it being a chemical pregnancy, and your HCG levels will be so high now that a pregnancy test won't be reliable in terms of telling you if this pregnancy will work out.

I hope your upcoming scan goes well ✨
