Hi guys basically I am now 40 weeks well 41 weeks on Monday. I had a sweep at midwifes and I did tell her I had a odour from down there she said it's probably nothing and is it the toilet etc I said no she said she would swab for infections the usual suspects I said ok havnt had the results yet tho and she's off today. The thing is after the sweep I had a strong fish type smell come on I msgd the midwife the day after and told her about this she didn't reply I also noticed the smell had gone the day after the fish smell anyhow. The thing is being so close to labour and having period type cramps yesterday and lastnight and not sure if I have a infection or not what do I do? Do I ring the triage and tell them the story and how I'm not sure if I have a infection or not and what with being close to labour etc. Thankyou
