6 weeks Questions

Hi - found out 2 weeks ago I am expecting. I am about 6 weeks and 2 days. Just wanted to know are pelvic pains normal? Because I keep having mild cramps and i’m worrying. I’ve miscarried before so just wanted some advice.

I'm about a week behind you and have been getting what I'd called twinges, more than cramps - perhaps it's a similar thing. Wishing you luck with your pregnancy x

Hi, cramps were my main system for the first 16 weeks and they were really quite intense in the early weeks x

Mild cramps and twinges can be very normal in early pregnancy

I’m at exactly the same stage as you, 6 weeks and 2 days and I’ve been having sharp pains, not painful for the most part only the odd one or 2 hurt but I definitely notice them. I haven’t had a chance to speak to my midwife about it yet but my sister who has a 2 year old says it’s very normal for this stage as even though the baby is so tiny, your uterus is growing which probably accounts for the “cramps” as such x

Thanks everyone! It’s really reassuring to hear its normal. I just don’t remember it with my other 2. But I probably have forgotten as they are much older. I have noticed other symptoms dying down and then this kicked in with the on off mild cramp like feeling. Boobs aren't as sensitive as they were before I tested but they still tingly occasionally. And waves of tummy ache come and go sometimes. I’ve broke out in spots as well this week which is a new one. And i’m always yawning and feel tired. The on and off headaches were annoying aswell.
