I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant, and had my first fundal height appointment today. I'm measuring a whopping 31 weeks, 5 weeks ahead!
I'm only 5,1 and healthy BMI before pregnancy. My partner is 6,3 though, so maybe this is why?
I'm now really nervous and worried about having a huge baby!
Baby isn't even measuring on the chart, far above the 97th line. The midwife says they'll only do a growth scan if the baby doesn't follow the curve.
Yikes

I’m surprised that you haven’t been sent for a growth scan being 5 weeks ahead. I was measuring 3 weeks ahead at my first measuring appointment and got sent for a gestational diabetes test and a growth scan. Both came back fine. From then on my measurement fell back in line with my gestational weeks.
My little girl was born this week at 38 weeks weighing 6lbs 1oz so definitely not oversized.
I think the fundal height measurement is notoriously wrong and can be measured slightly differently by different midwives.
I imagine you would be sent for a growth scan if you continue to measure 5 weeks ahead anyway xx

Fundal height is notorious inaccurate, I had two majorly different measurements on the same day at one point. Growth scans are more accurate, but even they're not 100% - I was expecting a massive baby as per growth scans but he was only 7lbs 12oz x
