Spotting? 29 weeks

Hello

I struggle with pregnancy as I have OCD and have lost a pervious baby in the third trimester.

Ever so often I find these tiny spots on my toilet paper (or similar to). They are never mixed in with discharge and often from wiping my 'enterence' after a wee. Whwn i find them, I really do wipe - to the point where I can make myself dry or sore. The spots are immediately dry on the paper. Sometimes I wonder if it's because of the toilet paper is recycled. The pictures are examples of what they can look like (sorry tmi)

Have spoken to an OB and midwives about it and they said not to worry but my brain can't let go of it (OCD is a b**h). Any reassurence welcome.

(Just to say, I have a lot of mental health support and support in pregnancy. I know seeking reassurence does not help OCD but right now I'm focusing on one day at a time)

Hi @AOMum14 I'm really sorry to hear about your previous loss, that must have been so traumatic for you.
I can obviously see the red spots you are referring to, but i personally don't think they look like blood. Have you put a pad/panty liner down and see if anything comes off on there? I would think if it was spotting it would actually look like blood spots or be mixed in with discharge. Alternatively if you think it could be the toilet paper why don't you temporarily get another brand and see if it stops happening and then at least you know.
