When did everyone get their first clear positive test?

I did a test yesterday and had a vfl but today I did a test and it looks pretty negative. I didn’t sleep much last night and drank quite a bit of water so unsure if my urine was just too diluted or whether I’m just being crazy. Only 8dpo so I know there’s time but I just wanted some opinions!

I only took a test at 10DPO and the test was very clear. No mistaking it! I think if I took a test at 8/9DPO it would have shown too.

Honestly OP, my best advice is to wait till at least a few days after you miss a period, that way you'll get a strong and unmistakable BFP and hopefully won't pick up a chemical.
In each of my pregnancies I took one single test a week or so after missing my period and had a fantastic dye stealer both times - then never tested again.

I know it's hard but I spent years obsessively symptom checking and repeat testing and it's just a total waste of money with the whole is it/ isn't it thing. I really don't think it's good for mental health either but that's just my opinion.

This was mine at 10DPO and 11DPO.

This top was my 9dpo and then bottom was 10dpo so quite a big change in a day. I would test tomorrow FMU to check again :)

Sorry just jumping in as I'm also worrying at 14dpo. Do you have any pics of the following days showing how it progressed please?

I used a few different tests so all the progression was quite different.

I got a digital positive at 10dpo, first image was 11dpo and second 16dpo

Here’s mine - clear from 10DPO

I tested on 13dpo and got a very clear positive.

I got a negative at 9dpo then a faint but unmistakable positive at 12dpo.

10dpo, really faint line on two strip tests. It showed up better when I fiddled around with my camera settings. Dh couldn't see it, but ate his words after a clear blue digital a day later confirmed it. Child is now 5!
