US tech thought she saw ‘double bubble’ at a growth scan around 36 weeks
Sent to fetal med for a more in depth scan. They couldn’t find the ‘double bubble’ but instead found dilated large bowel loops (17mm when acceptable value is 15mm or under)
Another scan today at 38+3 has shown the bowel is still dilated but couldnt measure
Has anybody else experienced their baby showing with dilated bowel prior to delivery & everything turned out to be fine? Of course the internet only tells you the bad stories
The hospitals have also been appalling in the way they have handled this tbh, a complaint will be going in once baby is here
They haven’t really explained what it could be or anything, hence having to turn to the internet. I’m due a section in 5 days & am just in a blind panic
