6 dpo positive test?

I did a test this afternoon and 2 of the tests turned positive straight away but when I re did the test in the evening, both were start white and negative.

Anyone else been through this?

It could be that your urine wasn't concentrated enough when you did the second test in the evening. I'd do another one with FMU

Oftentimes urine later in the day is more diluted so less HCG and can show as negative. This has happened me before yes. It's usually recommended to test first thing in the morning for accuracy. Maybe your evening urine was too diluted. Did you test again this morning?
I think you probably ovulated earlier than you think.. If that Wandfo test is correct there is no way you could have such a strong positive 6DPO!

I took a test this morning and it was negative! I’ve been tracking ovulation so I’m very sure I’m 6dpo. Maybe both the tests I picked were just faulty?

6dpo would be very very early (/impossible?) to get a result that strong. Seems very odd that two tests would be faulty though. I would probably test again around 10 dpo

Any night nurse recently?! That's the only time I've had a false positive.

I am not on any medication. We are currently trying for our second baby. I have a 2 year old. I lost a baby this May at 9 weeks and had a D&C. Since then been really struggling to fall pregnant.

I took a test today at 9dpo and still negative.

I think it’s impossible to get a positive test at 6dpo to be honest - it takes longer than that for the egg to work its way down and embed and start releasing hormones that turn the test positive. I’m sorry.
I know my dates exactly (IVF) and I got my first positive test at 10dpo (or what would have been) after implantation spotting the day before. Even then it was so faint it almost wasn’t there and wouldn’t have shown any earlier.
