Hi everyone. Any gender guesses? One pic is telling me girl and the other boy? 🤔

I think girl. The only reason I think the second image is unclear is because baby’s legs are too close together but I do think image one shows a girl :)

What did the sonographer say?

I'd say girl from those pics but the trained sonographer is looking at a real time moving image rather than a blurry still photo so that will be far more likely to be accurate. During the scan they identify what is the cord, leg etc and, depending on gestation, look at the early development of testes and ovaries etc which is very difficult to do on a scan pic.

I think those are hard to interpret. It does look like a girl but if baby was in the wrong position it could be a boy. I have a boy and a girl and your scan looks similar to both of mine depending on the angle you look at it! Are there any other pictures?
