Im a primary school teacher and was verbally sworn at, shouted at by a pupil last week. I’m currently 28 weeks pregnant and it was quite a stressful situation. Last school year, I was punched in the face by a pupil when I was 7 weeks pregnant and a week later the pupil was back in class with me.
Ive been crying at the thought of going to work and have self - certified sick leave for 7 days, however, I can’t get a doctors appointment until after the 7 days. I can’t face going back to work, will I get penalised if I stay off until the doctors appointment?
