Hi all,

I found out I was pregnant on Sunday after testing like a crazy woman! I'm worried that my tests aren't dark enough though? I would be either 11/12 dpo. Does this look normal?

I've also been getting so many period like cramps. I know google says it is normal but I'm convinced at any second I'll bleed 😩 Bbt is still super high.

Had a chemical a while back so feeling very nervous.

Looks fine to me, that’s quite a strong line. Congratulations!

In both my pregnancies I just felt like AF was about to arrive at any moment but she never did.
No other symptoms till I skipped a period then got sore boobs.
Sickness and other symptoms didn't hit till 7 weeks the first time and 5.5 second time.

Thank you both!

It's hard to imagine there's a little bub growing 🥹

Did two more tests today which show some progression, the blue one isn't as sensitive but much stronger than 48 hrs prior.

But I've had some blood and super scared that means bad news 😭

Congratulations
I tested yeateeday at 11DPO and got a BFP, I’ve been having quite bad cramps since around 4 dpo and they’re still going. This is my second pregnancy and I remember with my first having awful pains that would have me curled up like a ball in pain.

hows your bleeding? It could be implantation. From everything I’ve read a bit of blood is normal as long as it doesn’t contain clots

greentree16 · 05/12/2024 14:50

@Samthenanny ahh amazing congratulations! How long were you ttc?

Bleeding isn't as bad as yesterday and tests have got stronger again today so feeling more hopeful. The cramps are so strange, I can see why people mistake the cramps for PMS!

That’s a strong positive, congratulations! ☺️

I’m 7+2 today and I had period like cramps since I found out I’m pregnant. Every time I went to the bathroom I was afraid that I’ve started my period because sometimes the cramps were that bad! Honestly, just after I turned 7 weeks is when the cramping is going away. For the last few weeks it was pretty bad.

Yes, the bleeding could be implantation bleeding. When I was pregnant with DS, I had a tiny bit of implantation bleeding around the time when my period was due, it was very less and light brown, the doctor told me it was normal at that stage and many women get it. How is the bleeding now?

Samthenanny · 06/12/2024 07:17

@greentree16 this was our 8th month of trying so I was getting a bit down about it as our first who’s 2 was the first month of trying so I assumed it’d be the same.
I have a short month at only 23 days so that can’t help.

i woke in the night with a weird painful burning sensation in my ovary area which I remember with my little boy.

is this your first?
glad your lines have got darker that must of been nice to see, it’s such a worry isn’t it.
milo be booking in again for a early scan just to check

greentree16 · 06/12/2024 08:28

@dreamerkr glad to hear the cramps are starting to subside a bit and you've experienced similar. Bleeding has basically stopped now so hoping it stays that way 🤞

@Samthenanny isn't it funny how such a tiny thing in our bodies makes such an impact!

Yep this is our first, I can't imagine being able to wait until 12 weeks for scan 😂 I'm under a fertility clinic so will have one in a couple of weeks to check location etc.

@greentree16 ah that’d good, not a long wait then to see your little bean.
how you feeling?

im not as bad as i was at this point with my little boy, i do get nauseous, keep having stabbing pains.
we travelled north to see family this weekend and it was very hard to not say anything especially at a party where alcohol was flowing. Xmas day is going to be a hard one.
last time we told people at around 6/7 weeks but this time around I want to keep it quiet till maybe 16 weeks

greentree16 · 10/12/2024 22:52

@Samthenanny keeping it quiet amongst christmas shenanigans is the hardest part 😩
Part of me wants to share anyway in case something goes wrong but the other side of me doesn't want to share anything!

I'm feeling okay aside from some occasional nausea but I think I must be imagining it 😂 hope you're doing ok x
