I'm 18 weeks and found out today that DS has slapped cheek. I have had the blood test today, but won't get results until next week and am a bit worried.

I keep reading the symptoms on nhs direct and am now convinced I am getting it too!

Has anyone had slapped cheek during pregnancy and what was the outcome?

My best friend is a primary school teacher. She caught this when she was in her second trimester. They were both fine and she had a healthy bab girl. They will look after you. It must be so worrying.

Hi I am currently under a consultant because of having slapped cheek when I was about 8 wks pg. So far so good! There's a good thread on bounty under high risk pregnancy which a few of us have been posting on who have / are going through this. Let me know if you want to know any more!

btw, most adults have already had it, its really common in kids but you prob wouldnt remember having it. and once you have had it you are immune xxx
