Sorry I hope it’s okay to write in here. Those who have had a medical abortion, did you have to go back for a scan after or was there no need to if you got a negative pregnancy test?

There was no need to since I had a negative pregnancy test a few weeks afterwards. If you have it in a hospital/clinic the nursing staff will also check that you've passed the products of conception.

Is medical the pills? I did the pill then pessary and I got no more scans or anything after. Just tested negative three weeks later. The midwife did check the contents and say it was all there.

Same as other ladies have said, if you have a negative test after 2 weeks I think it is, then you don't have to go back for a scan. I had to go back to be rescanned but was just told sometimes HCG can linger x
