I’m 8 weeks and have been having on-and-off symptoms of thrush for the last week and a half, so I went to speak to my pharmacist yesterday morning, who told me she thinks it’s a UTI. Since last night, I’ve now also got a squeezing feeling in my lower tummy, which, from a quick Google, sounds like it could be the UTI spreading to my kidneys.
I’m feeling a bit stressed as my GP is closed over the weekend, and the maternity number has just been ringing out. I’ll call my doctors on Monday and hope they can give me an appointment that isn’t too far away.
I’m worried that this may harm the pregnancy. Has anyone experienced a similar UTI with pressure and squeezing on the lower tummy?
