Ate pink beef from a Chinese takeaway - toxoplasmosis worry

Hi just want some reassurance really. I ate a beef dish and realised half way through the beef strips were pink on the inside. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and overcome with worry. Considering it was a Chinese takeaway so traditionally not the most reliable food safety wise I'm just freaking out a bit. Anyone had experience with this? Should I call the doctor/midwife in a few days?

Had a similar experience when I was pregnant and told my midwife - she was not worried at all and baby was perfectly healthy. I think the reality is that it’s incredibly unlikely. Bring it up with your midwife to put your mind at ease.

Beef strips are just sliced beef steak so a bit of pink sounds like medium well steak.
Beef only has to be cooked to medium rare to kill toxoplasmosis / 63C
Medium rare is mostly pink.

You should be perfectly fine.

You will probably be ok but you can mention it to your MW
I actually stopped takeways while pg due to hygiene concerns around food poisoning (as well as dodgy BBQ's at MIL's) but that might have been unecessary, I am not a huge takeaway fan though so not a hardship.

For anyone coming across this. All was well, healthy baby.
