If the scan was at 16 weeks was the purpose of it not to determine the sex? It's difficult to tell at this angle, are there any other photos?

Many call it a Gender Scan at 20 weeks and alot of mothers to be have gender reveals ect which I am sure most have seen online/tv at some point in various fashions.
Why are peopls, as another commented, being so pedantic. This is not the only post where women have asked for guesses on what they call Gender for abit of fun during their pregnancy and others have to jump on and feel the need to abruptly comment irrelevantly and unnecessarily. Go comment and positively elsewhere!

@FirstTimeHospital I think a little girl 🥰 enjoy your pregnancy, there will be alot of people ( I don't mean professional medics of course -I mean non medics) trying to advise this that and the other, some helpful opinions some not so much! Ignore the not so muches and enjoy it and remember its all about you and good luck! I am a first timer too, and due in 4 weeks 😱😬🥰 xx

I’d say the GENDER is a girl. Congratulations! Don’t worry about silly comments, not everyone has to believe in this modern gender ideology stuff- I certainly don’t!

Did you want to keep it a surprise but just guess? I think at 16 weeks they can usually see in the scan. Just wondered if you asked them and they said?

I would agree with pp above on the guess.

No I was just getting a reassurance scan, and will decide at my 20 week scan in the hospital to confirm. Was just for a bit of fun! Thanks for all positivity xx
