Baby measuring 5 weeks ahead?!

Had my 32 week growth scan today and baby is measuring at 37 weeks and on the 97th centile 🫣

I've been saying to my husband this last week "I reckon they're going to say he's big" but I didn't think they'd say he was quite that big😅

Our last baby was measuring 2 weeks ahead and on the 90th centile (but I also had polyhydramnios) so that could of affected the measurements. They induced me at 39 weeks with her and she was born 8lb 4oz.

With this chunky guy there's no extra fluid, it's all baby🤣 they're gonna rescan me at 35 weeks and then decide what to do from there. So nervous they're gonna either push for a section or induce at 37 weeks. Anyone else been through this?

Funny you posted this iv just had my 22 week scan and baby measuring a week and a half ahead so I'm panicking!!!

Ooh try not to panic about a week or so, with my last baby she measured 2 weeks ahead but came out a very average size 😁 x

Goodness iv went worst case scenario because they are monitoring me for GD but then keep telling me I don't have it so THANK you for the reassurance! I hope all goes well for you and you are holding your little precious one soon 💖

They also kept questioning me about GD, saying "are you sure you don't have it?" "are you sure you had the test?"

Yup, had the test 3 weeks ago and I don't have it 🤣 I've been monitored for it with all my pregnancies and never had it, I just have a higher BMI 🤦🏻‍♀️
