I never had any sickness with my first born so this is all new to me. I was physically sick for the first time this morning, I have been feeling nauseous for about 2 weeks but today was the first time of being sick. Lasted about 5 minutes, I was sick a few times. I just wanted to hear from others that have also been sick physically, is this expected to happen every morning now until it gets better? It was honestly horrendous and now I am dreading the mornings even more than before! I am starting to feel a bit sick again now as well, is it normal to be sick more in the day?!

Honestly, anything is possible. You could be sick multiple times a day. Hopefully not though. If it becomes a problem you can get meds prescribed to help. It usually starts to improve towards 10 weeks.

I suffered from sickness from 6-11 weeks, some mornings It would be sickness, some it was just dry heaving (tmi sorry) however some days I was also sick during the day or night... You just can't predict it, everyone is so different! One thing that did help me though was keeping some snacks by my bed, it did help ease the nausea in the mornings

I was sick daily, all day for the whole pregnancy. Really hope yours disappears after a few weeks. Not meaning to scare you, just to show it really does happen throughout for some women

I'm 10 weeks and have had sickness since about week 7. It hits any time, sometimes several times a day, sometimes I just feel nauseous. My midwife told me the other day that if it's making me miserable and I'm having to stop doing things (which it has - I can't bear the thought of throwing up in public so I've stayed in and fed up of feeling like a potato) to speak to GP. She said, rightly, you don't get medals for being miserable. Got tablets yesterday and waiting for this morning's wave to pass so I can take the first lot. Crackers, ginger, travel sickness bands didn't do a thing.
