Hi everyone, I need to buy a breast bump and feeling a bit out of my depth will all the different types.
Does the brand really matter?

Ideally I think I'm looking for a wearable one without wires.

Any recommendations?
Also recommendations on where to get them from.

sorry cant help with a recommendation as i really regret not buying a cordless wearable pump. Being trapped by a cord and having to hold the pump is really frustrating, you can’t even hold your baby at the same time. I’m sure someone will be along shortly to recommend one.

I bought two when I was desperate because breastfeeding was going badly. I got the pippeta double wearable breastpump and I got a cheap medela hand pump. I got the medela because the pipeta took a few days to deliver. Anyway, used pippeta twice and the medela all the time. Found it easier and quicker to pump (5 mins each side) and so much easier to clean and put together. I guess you never know which one you’ll get on with but I’d recommend trying cheap first! The pippeta was fine by the way, but medela was just better.

I'm afraid to say the elvie was life changing for me. I know it's expensive but it's so good. I was visiting family recently when my baby got quite unwell with chickenpox. He wouldn't take the breast for >24 hours & I was so engorged and didn't bring a pump. I borrowed a medela with wires and a hand pump and I couldn't believe the effort/ lack of opportunity to use my hands. I was just stuck. My toddler wanted a cuddle, my baby needed to be held. It was so stressful. I would've given anything to have the elvie back!
