Just thought I'd start this thread so we can support each other on our "geriatric" pregnancy journey. I found our recently that I'm pregnant at 40. Totally unplanned as our youngest is 8 and I'm well done with our baby days. Whether planned or unplanned over 40. Let's support each other here. Congrats on your pregnancies.

Congratulations 💕 I'm 43, not pregnant but hoping to be in the new year via IVF. I have a 10 year old. I lost 2 pregnancies at 41 when DD was 7 then 8. Wish I'd not waited so long for 2nd but here we are !

I'm 41 (42 next month) and 22+4 with DD2.
DD1 will be almost 5 when her baby sister is born.
Didn't particularly plan it this way and not been using any contraception since DD1 was a baby but not a hint of a BFP until now.

Hi, 42 and almost 33 weeks with our first - a rainbow IVF baby. ELCS booked for 3 Jan and I cannot wait!!

@sel2223 Wow congrats! You're already over half way. How have you found it so far? Have you had to have any extra checks etc because of age? @wednesdaysotherchild awww congrats on your rainbow baby you're nearly there! Do you mind me asking are you having a c section because of age?

Navigating the medical industry here is difficult. Would love advice on planning an A Team for the Hosptial and Midwife. Not Concerned about Fertility Clinic cuz thats what they do and they are used to it.

Im willing to go anywhere for a positive medical team.
