Has anyone had 2 months of late periods but negative tests?

Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone has had 2 months of unusual periods, negative tests but still being pregnant?

For context my period last month was over 2 and a half weeks late which has never happened before and pregnancy was very much a possibility. My period was also lighter both flow and in colour & shorter than usual (usually 6 days but it was only 4 days and I did have 1 day of really bad cramps too). I spoke to my gp as I had a few symptoms such as light cramps (different to period cramps), nausea, extreme fatigue, headaches and the odd few other symptoms on & off. I also had a bit of spotting mid cycle for a couple of hours and the day my period was due for just 1 wipe (sorry tmi?) which again has never happened. I took multiple pregnancy tests which all came back negative but my gp wouldn't do a blood test until this month.

Symptoms have subsided a little apart from the fatigue & headaches but this month I am over a week late again, I did have really bad back pain 2 days ago but no other signs of AF coming. My GP has booked me an appointment today but not for another 2 weeks but they have advised pregnancy is very much still a strong possibility. I am going to take another test which I haven't done yet but just wondering if anyone else has had anything similar and what the outcome was? If I am pregnant I'd be around 11 weeks I think which makes me think it's not that but I'm not sure as the gp just mentioned pregnancy again.

I know one person who was 20 odd weeks when they found out. They had been back and to to the Dr for 5 months feeling awful taken multiple pregnancy tests which were negative until tests discovered the pregnancy
My boss has said his wife was about 14 weeks when she found out she was pregnant and again didn't get positive test until she had one at the GP
It would be unusual but the body can be weird.

It's honestly so weird isn't it. I had one at the gp last month which they thought was going to be positive but came back negative but they won't do bloods and I had the same on an at home last month🤦🏻‍♀️ It's just so strange as I had so many symptoms but not as bad now and coincidently lines up perfectly with the month pregnancy is a possibility lol. I had a dream last night I was pregnant with twins though but another negative this evening so I'll try again tomorrow. The only other thing I can think of is pcos which I have no other symptoms of, I came off the pill at the beginning of the year but had 6 perfect periods since then so I'm not thinking it's that either. Just so frustrating that I've got to wait 2 weeks for an appointment it's driving me mad aha.
