Am I pregnant?

Hey guys so I have been trying for 3 months now including this cycle to get pregnant and I was on birth controls (mini pill) before I started trying. This cycle my period is 15 days late and I have been taking pregnancy tests but they are coming back as negative. Does anyone know what the issue is to why my period is late or if the tests are taking a while to show?

At over two weeks late, your tests would show an obvious positive. You'd be six weeks pregnant.

I think you've just missed a period. That's quite normal, and nothing to worry about.

Agree with previous poster you’ve likely just missed a period or cycle still sorting itself out after the bill. 16 days late due to pregnancy you’d have a very clear and obvious positive x

I used to take the mini pill and sometimes I wouldn’t get a period for 2/3 months then light spotting for a few days. Wouldn’t worry too much if pregnancy tests are coming back negative x

Unless the tests are expired?
But a different brand just to check. I've had a period this late before when I was very stressed (as I thought I might be pregnant and didn't want to be!) our brains can make our bodies do funny things

If the tests are showing negative then you’re not pregnant, or otherwise testing too early, but that would be unlikely given the info you’ve presented.

It can actually take six months.

I’m sure everyone is different but for me it took a few months for my periods to regulate themselves, maybe 3 or 4? I think it also depends on how long you were taking it before hand x
