Hi.

Could anyone tell me if those are good results meaning there is no need to do private NIPT?

we did it privately when we were pregnant with our son nearly 3 years ago and the results were 1/10000 so those ones are concerning.

please, if anyone could give me any advice as I’m starting to panic.

I wouldn't have a NIPT with those results, especially if money was tight.

1 in 150 or less is considered higher risk and worth further testing.

Your results are completely normal / fine

That's similar to my NHS results. I was a bit concerned when I saw them as I assumed it would be 1 in 10000 or something but in reality those results are very very low. I've since had my 20 week scan and all was good there too. I wouldn't pay the extra money.

NHS are standardising tests across the UK so that the lowest is 1 in 5000.

I had a shock this time round as previous pregnancy was 1 in 100,000 or something so I did some research!

Hi, how long did it take for you to get this letter after bloods? I had blood tests 3 weeks ago and not heard anything yet.

I did it exactly a week ago.
