Clear blue weeks indicator gone down

I did a clear blue digital with fmu Thursday at 6 weeks pregnant and it gave me a 3+, stupidly I took the last test in the pack on second wee of the day at 6 weeks 4 days and test has gone back down to 2-3

anyone had a similar experience?

I have had previous losses and also a baby via ivf (this is a natural pregnancy so very anxious)

I haven't had this experience myself but it seems to make sense that second wee of the day would be less concentrated and therefore show less weeks. Tbh pregnancy tests are fickle at the best of times and are not quantitative of HCG. So much can influence the result. I wouldnt rely on pregnancy tests as a measure of how pregnancy is progressing. For now, you're 6+ weeks pregnant and presumably feeling good? No tests will change anything, so focus on the here and now. Best of luck for a lovely pregnancy x

Pregnancy tests are not designed to show you progression once you get this far - have a look into something called the hook effect for a start.

I’ve also had multiple losses and the week’s indicator tests have been accurate for me in predicting a miscarriage. I hope this isn’t the same for you. Could you get an early scan? I always like to know sooner rather than later so I can plan things, my body doesn’t seem to process it naturally.

Yes this happened to me!! I was also worrying, I re checked with an other FMU and it was back to 3+! Im 17 weeks now. Good luck xx

The weeks indicator is only accurate (and not even always) with first morning wee, with the second it would be more diluted

The accuracy of the clear blue weeks is not great so sadly, it won't be able to guess what will happen.

I was in the same position as yourself earlier this year, natural pregnancy following ivf and a natural loss - i had to step away from the pregnancy tests. Lines didn't progress - I'm now 24-weeks.

In the nicest possible way - you are pregnant and until you get to 6-weeks for an early scan, nothing will put your mind at rest but poas is just wasting money.
