Curious as to whether anybody else is in the same boat. Currently 37 weeks pregnant and have had acid reflux during the majority of the pregnancy on and off, particularly bad at the moment. Does anyone else’s top of bump feel tender/ painful to touch? Central, top of bump, I’m guessing this is where the stomach is now?

Yep :(
I had it alll the way through with my last baby
and now with this one mostly end of 2nd trimester onward. drs can prescribe you gaviscon to help. I only find rennie tablets work for me though.
The pain could be a few things. - the reflux and baby kicking you. Get checked out just in case.
my whole tummy feels tender on and off but midwife had no concern

@Twinkletwinklelil sorry to hear you’re struggling too, I just keep thinking how worth it it will be!

Thank you! Did you find the top of your bump was sore to touch due to the acid reflux?

@LW678 my whole bump is to be honest
but I do recall the top and up my chest being sore if I didn’t take anything!
I had a hiatial hernia with my first too which exacerbated the symptoms ☹️

@Twinkletwinklelil bless you, that on top of normal pregnancy symptoms!
