Hi,

I had heavy bleeding, cramping on left side and clotting on 8th November - went to urgent care and was told to wait it out as was only estimated at 4 weeks pregnant.

Week after I had light red bleeding for 4 days.

I went for early private scan on 21st November and she said she couldn’t see anything in the womb but a little area above my left ovary. Went to EPU yesterday and my HCG is at 2452 so have been put down as Pregnancy of Unknown location. Today I was called back into EPU to have internal scan. Same outcome - couldn’t see anything in womb and an area near my left ovary but she couldn’t determine what it was. She couldn’t see a sac or anything so told me it could possibly be ectopic or cysts but we’re just not sure. I’ve also got a tilted (retroverted?) uterus. I’ve had no ectopic symptoms so I’ve been sent home and got to repeat bloods tomorrow.

Has anyone experienced this before? I’m mentally preparing myself for it to be an ectopic but because everyone is so unsure it’s a horrible limbo to be in.
