We had a 12 week scan and the NT measurement was 3.1, the sonograher said that was normal, but some posts I’ve read say that is high. She said below 3.5 is normal?
we then got the call we were not expecting that the combined test results have come back and I have a 1 in 2 chance of the baby having all 3 trisomy’s (Down’s syndrome, Edwards and patau). I’m worried sick as I can’t find many people who have had a 1 in 2 chance of all three. Has anyone been in this same position? I can’t remember what they told us fully at the hospital as I was so upset, but I think the reason for the increase is due to my very low PAPPA, also my pregnancy hormone which she said she was surprised they even picked up as it was so low. I do not know what this means and I didn’t get a copy of my results, so I have so many questions. We had the NIPT Friday but as we have a 1in2 chance we have got back Monday hopefully for our CVS, I’m praying they can get to my placenta.
