Previous placenta accreta!

Hi, new mum on here I have been racking my brain with research and thought coming to other mums would be better. Back in 2022 made it to full term with my 2nd baby. Everything went well with the birth until she came out. I was then told I had placenta accreta and had to have emergency surgery and blood transfusions which was successful.
We are thinking of trying for another but worried after last time. I would like to know if their are any other mums that had placenta accreta and went onto have another baby and if it reoccurred or not. Also if so did you seek medical advice before trying again?!

Absolutely seek medical advice before going ahead. Placenta accreta can be life-threatening and you've clearly already had one with significant haemorrhage, which puts you at risk of it happening again. You need a discussion with an obstetrician who has access to your notes.

Oh yeah defo, we have been talking before anything about going the doctors to talk about it all. I was just hoping to see if there was anyone else that had been through the same and still went on to having another.
