I have an IUD and had positive pregnancy tests around the end of October. I called my GP who told me to go to the EPU immediately as I had right sided pain and back pain, along with one or 2 drops of blood but that is all. on the 4th November the doctor found an ectopic pregnancy 7mm x 8mm x 8mm in my right fallopian tube. They took my blood and called me that afternoon to say my HCG was almost zero and my body will be dealing with it itself likely due to the IUD. And then that was the end of it.
I have had miscarriages previously at 5 weeks and 7 weeks, in which there was a huge amount of blood, so that is what I have been waiting for. However, I have not had any bleeding and still have occasional right sided pain (which when I spoke to my doctor she said my tube will likely to be inflamed for up to 6 weeks).
anyway I'm just wondering if anyone else has experiences an ectopic with no bleeding or was there a delay unlike a normal miscarriage?
