I took a positive test on the 16th, and it seems my lines are only getting fainter. I'm 3 weeks late, I had 3 days of abnormally heavy bleeding last month and my doctor referred me to have an emergency scan with the concerns I may have an ectopic pregnancy. They're refusing to give me my results, therefore I have no clue what's happening. I'm getting strong pains in my left side which started today. I took a test today and the line only came up after 10 minutes, and it's definitely getting fainter I feel. So is it just a case of waiting or what do I do now?

I think if it were me I would call the Early pregnancy unit and explain that you have one sided pain. Request a scan. Hopefully everything is okay but you really need to know if it's not.

I hope this helps.

One sided pain is a sign of ectopic. I had it early on in this pregnancy and was seen at epu for a scan. How didn't you get your results? Didn't you see on the screen if there was something there or not? If there wasn't they would've called you in for a follow up. Luckily I'm 26 weeks now and it was all okay for me but the care was immaculate. If your unhappy call again and explain.

The sonograper didn't say a word to me, wouldn't let me see the screen or anything. I asked what was happening, and he said I'd hear from the doctor as it wasn't his job to tell me apparently. I called the doctor surgery this morning and they said they weren't able to tell me the results yet. No idea of when I'll hear back
