Private 12 week scan

Can't make the NHS date or the alternatives offered - looking to book it privately instead, looks like fetal medicine centre in London has the proper machine and actual doctors, but welcome any other suggestions?

(Before anyone says the private scans aren't the same, they offer the nuchal testing which is same as NHS)

The NHS will need to find a suitable date surely? Can you not do any weekday daytimes around that time? Or did they say they can’t do it? Sorry no advice on private places but others might x

my hospitals next appointment is when I’m week 14 for a scan so it’s that or nothing. They don’t have to accommodate you if they can’t

I don't mind paying for it as I appreciate it's my fault I can't make the time allocated, so just hoping for any other recommendations, but maybe fetal medicine centre is the only place properly qualified

Have a NIPT and they do a blood work and a scan. Tons of places do it

Yes will do NIPTb as well but the nuchal scan is still important I think for other issues. Thanks

She did all the nuchal stuff at my NIPT. Nothing extra was given at the NHS one, the NIPT covered it all
