i know i know it is pg hormones and completely normal but at 10 weeks pg im seriously struggling with my bad moods. Mainly toward my 22 month ds. I keep shouting at him. Hes playing up a bit and im suffering badly with ms (long story) i know im taking it out on ds as there is no need to shout at him when im telling him off. What do i do?? I had a break from him this w/e and was feeling abit more positive with dealing with him this morning but it only lasted about an hour. Is there anything i can take safely to help??

Ask you GP or midwife for a cocktail of omegas + calcium + magnesium. helps keep everything relaxed.

dont worry about it. i understand completely. i keep shouting at my one as well, we had an arguement over exactly when i conceived, but according to his calculations, we never slept together that night as we had guests round!! so i told him he was wrong (which apparantly they are NEVER wrong, god forbid) it got totally out of control and i ended up throwing a book at him (well aimed as it hit the cat instead) and to top it off a cup and ran into the bedroom crying, wondering what the hell had i or he done to turn me into the hulk!!
so now i'm off to see my gp for a magical mix of pills, (may as well get something free while i am pregnant!) and going away for a whole week to see my family, and he is taking me for a meal 2 nights in a row!
not all bad, but i swear i am going to be carted off to the mad house soon, i've also developed terrible road rage. in fact just pure rage for anything. it is not the hormones it's bloody men!

I don't know about natracalm, but I think you can take flower remedies and homeopathy. Perhaps it is worth a shot?

slim22 · 28/04/2008 15:07

Of course! Bach rescue remedy.

needahand · 28/04/2008 15:09

Yes I am pretty sure you can take the rescue remedy (although not in small quantities as it has alcohol init
