31+2 and being referred to a specialist for a scan🫣

So I went for a growth scan yesterday I am 31+2 weeks. My baby is measuring on the larger size for my gestation. I have been referred to the diabetes clinic. When I was having my scan she mentioned my baby’s kidneys looked slightly larger and brighter but it was nothing to worry about she wanted to refer me to a specialist to make sure everything was okay. I’m worried. But my scan isn’t until 25/11. Would I be made to wait a whole week if something was seriously wrong? 😑 I can’t help but be worried sick about it all and waiting a week just makes it worse. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? 🤦🏽‍♀️😑
