Hello everyone ,

What can I do ?

GP should prescribe supplements for you, it's not too difficult to rectify. And you will feel SO much better once you start taking them.

I was quite lucky in that I had no issues with them, but some people can have stomach issues. You could try an over the counter remedy such as Floradix, tastes foul but if you have a glass of orange juice afterwards, it helps with absorption (and takes away the taste....).

It is quite common in pregnancy, I had it in 3 of mine, although no one told me the first time until my next scheduled check up (8 weeks after my blood tests....). Worth keeping an eye on after the birth too, as levels can drop again.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. Smile

Did they not mention taking iron supplements? It's very common in pregnancy, I've been taking extra iron since about 15 weeks
