Ectopic question

Hi All,

my period this month never came, now 2 weeks late, I’ve never had a missed period except when pregnant (2 miscarriages, no babies). I told my friend I was late and still testing negative but felt I had some symptoms of pregnancy so I thought I was originally - anyway, she said when she had an ectopic she didn’t test positive until 3 weeks late because the HCG rises slower - anyone else got any experience?

obviously I am hopeful it’s a missed period and not an ectopic but just wondering on peoples experiences?

I tested positive on 12 dpo for my ectopic

I tested positive when my period was due - and actually started having what I thought was my period but was actually bleeding from the ectopic.

HCG levels need to be at something like 15-20 before getting a positive test so really very low,

Thanks everyone, it just worried me when she said that, I’ve tested several times including Friday which was 11 days late and nothing so I guess it’s just my body doing something it’s never done before - which in itself gives me anxiety when you want to try for a baby! Lol.

I tested positive at 11DPO (3 days before period due) with my ectopic! X
