Am I having a miscarriage or is this spotting?

Hi, I am having some light pink bleeding when I wipe. I am 7+3 weeks with some cramps which have eased. Is this the start of a miscarriage?

I used to get that after internal scans or sex - basically anything that irritated my cervix. Had it with both successful pregnancies. With my miscarriage it started like a very light period, but definitely red blood rather than pinky discharge. Best of luck x

Hi, I don't think anyone can tell you for sure what the cause is right now, I just wanted to say I'm sorry you're going through this. If it's any help, I had quite a big bleed around that point in my last pregnancy and it turned out to be fine, but I had to wait the whole weekend before I could have an early scan to find out if I was still pregnant. There's nothing you can do except rest and call the numbers you've been given, hopefully you get that scan soon and all is well🙏

I would call them, yes. It's hopefully nothing but I was told any bleeding should be checked out.

Personally I'd see what was happening in the morning. If it's stopped I wouldn't bother. If it's the same or more I probably would ring. X

Hey so I am 3 days late for my period and I never miss a period it's always in time and I'm having all the signs of early pregnancy and now im bleeding I woke up this morning no blood on my underwear and I went pee and I wiped and it was like a barely visible pinkish color on the top now it looks like this and three spots on my underwear very light I've had this tampon in for about 30 minutes
