Hello ladies! I became a solo mum by choice via double donation, age 49. My daughter is now almost 5. It was the most difficult - but the best - decision that I ever made.
I took to the TEDx stage recently to share my very personal journey. "The road less travelled to motherhood".
I hope that this will help anyone who hears it. I also hope that it will help dispel some of the silence and stigma that still surrounds our fertility choices, solo and late-stage motherhood, childlessness (by choice or not), and IVF including donor conception.
