Sharp/dull pain on left side near uterus. PLEASE HELP!! 🙏🏼

Hi all, my period is in 7 days and last night I experienced a bit of sharp/dull pain on the left side near my uterus.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so what was the outcome or does anyone know what this could be?

Assuming you're trying to get pregnant as you've posted this here, it could be implantation.

But please don't get too excited, its actually relatively easy to conceive, but its another thing entirely to conceive a viable embryo and make it past the first few weeks. A lot of women test way too early and get their hopes up.

I am bit confused - I always thought sharp and dull pains were the opposite of each other.

I did get a lot of significant pains on one side of my uterus in early pregnancy - turned out to be an ovarian cyst. It resolved itself and no harm to the pregnancy.

I did get implantation cramps as well but they were quite minor. I think it was a bit like a small pinching sensation IIRC.
