Help! Ectopic or just too early?

Currently sitting in the hospital ward with a suspected ectopic.

Had an internal scan and it was apparently very hard to see in the uterus. What the sonographer thought she could see was a “mass in the left tube” but couldn’t be completely certain as it was “very difficult to see”.

I should be around 5 weeks. They’ve done bloods and they’ve come back as above 5000. They say with those levels there should be “something in the uterus”.

I have no pain or cramping and last had watery, brown stuff on Monday. They thought they could perhaps see some fluid in the uterus but not sure and thought it could be something else.

Anyone got any experience like this? I’m losing mg mind and want a second opinion.

I am so sorry, that doesn't sound well if she thought she could see something in the tube:(

The good news is, it was caught early and they will probably give you a drug so you wont loose your tube.

Thank you. She wasn’t completely certain that the mass she could was definitely in the tube. I’m at a complete loss as my pregnancy is continuing as normal on the surface.

I had a blighted ovum earlier this year so they were trying to rule out ectopic (which they did in the end). There was no embryo ever and I had the worst morning sickness I ever had (my fourth pregnancy, 2 kids). It just doesn't make sense sometimes.
