Been getting thrush symptoms I did get some cream from gp didn’t work tried just letting it go on its own and it’s not I’m 26 weeks pregnant.
so last choice was the pessary but I explained to gp I struggled to get it in properly without the applicator so gp advised using the applicator but dont put all the way in so tonight I did only put the tip in and now im worried something bad will happen

Its safe to have sex in pregnancy so an applicator tip isn’t going to do anything

You will be absolutely fine, I used the pessary during pregnancy, it's the recommended course of treatment. Try not to worry.

Use the applicator and put it the whole way in as normal or else itll just fall out and won't work. It's prescribed this way in my hospital in pregnancy. And as above poster said - sex in pregnancy is absolutely fine so no reason an applicator wouldn't be OK

But maybe the doctor advised against using an applicator because that would push the medication too near your cervix? Just a thought.. 🤷‍♀️
