Only just got BFP 16 days late on period!

Did this happen to anybody else?? Days before i was getting negatives, but if i base it off my last period i would be 7 weeks pregnant right now!! Surely i would have got a positive way before??

Has anyone else ever been in this situation? I'm unsure how far i am, if i've ovulated late or HCG just wasn't strong enough...

You must have ovulated a couple of weeks late!

Don't get hung up on LMP date, it's just an early guide based on 28 day average cycle length and ovulation on day 14.
If you have longer or shorter cycles or you ovulated early or late then it won't be accurate for you.

I have long, irregular cycles and got my BFP on cycle day 54. I went for a scan when I would have been 8+2 based on LMP but baby only measured 6+1 so 15 days difference initially. No concerns as I knew I'd ovulated late.
I'm now 20+4 and everything is going well. Baby did catch up a bit from that first scan so official due date is 10 days less than what it would have been based solely on LMP.

It sounds like you ovulated a couple of weeks late like I did.
