Can I get a false positive?

Hi, I had a bit of a shock today when I took a test and got this result. I’m on day 29 and my cycles usually fluctuate between 30 - 33 days. I did the test because I just haven’t felt myself over the last few days, I just had this odd feeling. I wondered if this may be a false positive? Has anyone had a similar experience with the Clear Blue Rapid Detection tests?

Looks like a standard positive test to me.

I just wasn’t sure about the test. When I took it out of the packet it already had a dull horizontal line. Sorry, this is all new to me and been sweeping online for feedback and thought this would be a good place to ask. Thanks for the reply.

That looks like a strong positive! Congratulations!

Thanks, I’m still in shock and it hasn’t quite sunk in. Not going to think about it too much at the minute as I know things can still go wrong at this stage. Going to do another test at the weekend which will be after my period is due.

Did another test today and a + appeared pretty quickly so assuming the result is positive. So many emotions right now!
